Today I rehearsed– Rolling in the deep

Pianist – Leah

Guitarists – Molly & Jayden

Vocals -Maddie

I had a few runs through rolling in the deep as feel more confident practising on my own without the pressure of others in the room. However, I have rehearsed with 3 others today initially I listened to how they played first to get the timing in my mind. I would like to continue playing as a group to build my confidence up more and perfect the timing with the guitar.

Things that went well…

I felt confident enough today to play as a group the first few runs I did break to get the keys correct. Playing alongside others I feel more confident this will come together with more rehearsal time.

Things to improve on…

Initially we did add an extra chorus listening to different versions some have extra versus so we are sticking with the original. I did break a few times missing parts however feel its best for the rest to continue for me to come back in and play. This would be rathe than them stopping to restart.

Further progress…

I would like to rehearse with everyone more as no longer feel I need to on my own. This may be hard as they do have other songs to practise but as long a s I have at least 1 session this will be great. We will eventually need backing vocals but not sure who this will be initially this was Vickie.

We only have around 5 weeks until the performance to rehearse and perfect.
