Music Practice Blog 24/10/2023

Today was a small rehearsal session firstly with Vic and then Maddie and Dan joined.

We initially split into 2 groups I rehearsed someone like you and others went to do rolling in the deep. I will rehearse rolling in the deep once feeling more confident after practice alongside the song. When I was on my own I practised the keys to rolling in the deep alongside a metronome to get the timing correct. I would like to practise more alongside playing the song before practising with others.

Things that went well…

We can play someone like you with breaking now there’s not much more we can do with this piece. We well continue to play this together to keep it fresh and try to learn more songs in the future.

Things to improve on…

During 1 run through I did loose placement in the chorus however quickly corected this and started again.

Further progress…

I am planning on learning more of rolling in the deep in the hope to be able to play with everyone as a group. I would like to rehearse this more on the drums in my lessons to see which I prefer to play.
